As a B2B sender, it is a good idea to check the health of your IP and domain sending reputations at least once per month. It can help you understand how B2B security and spam filtering companies perceive your email.
The B2B security and spam filter sender reputation checks do not give detailed, root cause information about sending issues. Rather, they provide general IP or domain sending reputation results categorized as "high, medium, low", "good, neutral, poor", or "high risk, medium risk, low risk". Results are determined by collecting data from their customers and applying internal scoring methods.
A good sending reputation means you are more likely to reach the inbox, but there are no guarantees. Be sure to view the sending reputation results relative to your own internal performance metrics. Internal metrics may show opens, clicks, and conversions even with a poor sending reputation. However, those metrics are likely to improve as your sending reputation improves.
If you see poor sending reputation results, review your email program and ensure you follow B2B sending best practices.
