SmartSeeds are divided into four basic sender personas that mimic how real email subscribers tend to behave in their inboxes--reading email messages, deleting without reading, and so on. These personas are based on segments of users found in historical subscriber data. They were chosen because they clearly indicate the role engagement has on inbox placement rate for commercial campaigns.
- Engaged: This persona is highly engaged with both your email messages and email from other senders.
- Loyal: This persona is highly engaged with your email messages, but unengaged with email from other senders.
- Potential: This persona is unengaged with your email messages, but highly engaged with email from other senders.
- Disinterested: This persona is not yet engaged with email messages from you or from other senders.
