Purpose
This test checks to ensure that domains used in the campaign message do not appear on key blacklists. Email messages with domains listed on these key blacklists are likely to be blocked or filtered to the spam or junk folder by mailbox providers.
How it works
When a campaign is sent to Inbox Monitor, Inbox Optimizer checks the message header and message body for domains using the first reference seed received.
This test performs a real-time check on each message sent to Inbox Monitor to see if any domain in the message header or message body is listed on the Spamhaus Domain Block List (DBL) or any of the Spam Uniform Resource Identifier Real-time Block List (SURBL) blacklists.
Results
- Pass: If there are no domains listed on the Spamhaus DBL or any SURBL blacklists.
- Fail: If there are domains listed on the Spamhaus DBL or any SURBL blacklists.
