What is a policy block?

A policy block is when email from your IP address or domain is rejected by a mailbox provider in response to some sort of policy violation.  

Example violations include:

  • Poor sending reputation
  • Inappropriate content
  • Spam characteristics
  • Sending an unexpected, large volume of email in a short period of time
