As a certified sender, why do I need a SPF record?

Sender Policy Framework (SPF) gives you the ability to better confirm that your email is legitimate. Because almost all major mailbox providers check SPF natively or through third-party services, they may think your legitimate email is fraud if you do not authenticate with SPF and other protocols.

To be compliant with the Certification program's standards, you must publish an SPF record for all domains sending mail from certified IP addresses.
