What is DomainKeys?

DomainKeys was an email authentication protocol developed by Yahoo!. It was Yahoo!'s first attempt at developing a way to verify the identity of a sender. DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) replaced DomainKeys and is the current standard used by many senders and mailbox providers.
